Reaching university life is the dream of every young boy and girl, It is like a charm that falls on us and makes us unaware of reality. Sitting on the floor in the class corridors, enjoying all the weather with colleagues at the canteen, walking around proudly all day after impressing the teacher with arguments, and trying to impress your female or male colleagues, is a beautiful part of department life. When you look back at university life you will see yourself in a long thread of memories including discussing the lives of your favorite heroes and heroines, frankness, gossip, mischief, and laughter. All of these things will be echoing in the walls of the university, and one day these memories will become a dream and be buried in the desert of memories after passing out. On the last day of your university life, if you cross the gate and look back, you and the rest of your friends will be seen laughing and walking around, then there will be sighs and sobs and you will return home with a heavy heart.

The next day will be very different as long as the first wave of the hot sun hits.

The crowd that you were in for the last four years will scatter like fallen leaves in a heavy storm. You would not be able to talk to all your forever best friends for months. Then the struggle for your identity and the search for a job and career will hit you differently. Next, your face will change and it will not be the same as it was in the university. The reality of practical life will take away the innocent blush on your face and the thoughts of domestic issues will settle on your face. There will be a struggle and there will be effort.

The question, “what is your next plan?” will be more difficult to answer than any other question you have attempted in your 16 years of education.

All the excitement of the university will be forgotten, there will be seriousness on your face. When you will come to the university after a long time, you will look around anxiously and try to find yourself like crazy. You will try to call all those beautiful moments of your four-year journey but all of them will be long gone. Then you will turn to the canteen thinking maybe you will find someone there, but you will return with a grim face. You and your buddies will not be there, but you will see your characters in the people sitting there and you will feel yourself in them.Your favorite professor will look at you and say how much you have changed, seeing the dust marks of life’s bitterness on your face, he will say, man, you have matured… time will change your thinking and even your face; sometimes memories. Sometimes you may cry remembering all those beautiful moments and you may laugh while crying.

I don’t know how many stories are buried and sobbing in the courtyard of the university. Some incomplete some complete. Then you will cross the path that leads to the university and the story will not end there, it will be a different story from then onwards. The story has many changes, so many difficulties, and so many hardships that you will feel like you are nothing more than a leaf coming down from the lush green tree to the autumn-hit ground.
